If ever superlatives were in order, last Friday’s concert, featuring world class classical pianist, Katya Grineva, with special guest, Master Cellist, Byron Duckwall, and of course our own Mitch Kahn, introducing the event with selections from The Great American Popular Songbook, was spellbinding and memorable!
This concert, to benefit the SCNY Capital Campaign, was the result of the vision and collaborative efforts of John Morehouse, Mitch Kahn and many others working behind and between the scenes. Who would have guessed that we would be even further enriched…
The performance, so poetic, expressive and enchanting, seemed to exert a unifying force on us and touched us in ways we could never have imagined.

I agree wholeheartedly with the write-up above. I don’t usually get to participate in events at the club since I live out of state, but I happened to be able to make it to this one, with my father and daughter. How lucky we were! Absolutely wonderful music in an elegant, intimate atmosphere. What a treat! My thanks to those who made it possible.
